The Open Mic Sessions are held in the fabulous Dublin City Hotel, Temple Bar. We invite you to perform in one of Dublin’s most impressive buildings, which has recently been upgraded after months of careful renovation work. The bar now features “Pour your own Pint” tables from Guinness to Carlsberg. The Open Mic Sessions start at 8:00pm and sound-check is between 7 and 8pm. The Open Mic Sessions are for artists of many different artistic genres. We provide a fair and open platform for solo and duo musicians, bands, singers, songwriters, comedians, poets, writers, and actors to perform in front of family, friends, fellow performers, producers, talent scouts and music lovers. We showcase between three and five acts per session only. It's not a free for all, so please contact us first!  The Open Mic Sessions take place in different venues around Ireland to help promote unsigned talent. Bands and artists of all ages, creeds and religions get a listening ear and show what they’re all about. It’s a good chance to meet friends, open-minded musicians and occasionally the media come along to check out the raw talent. We welcome all styles and influences from Indian Sitar to Irish poetry. An acoustic guitar and microphones are available on the night, but we often have singers who do not use mics and hope to see many writers and poets also. Feel free to bring along extra PA essentials.

We welcome you to come and perform for 45 minutes. We will make sure to slot you in as soon as we here from you; but the spots fill up quickly so email us well in advance.
